Just Like a Movie

'It's just a movie. It's just a stupid movie.'

There are three main characters in this book. First, a man named Brad. He likes movies and often go to cinema. Then he met a girl named Gina. They fell in love and decided to marry. But they didn't have enough money to marry. One day, Brad watched a movie called "Dead Money" with Gina. It was a story about a man and a woman, they were also poor, too. But a man and a woman in the movie finally spent a happy life. There were a trick. And after watching the movie, Brad came up with an idea. Then one day he met a woman, named Carrie...
What do you think he is going to do? Is his plan going well?
I like the ending the most. Maybe you will be surprised to.
I also think that I can enjoy the constructions of stories recently. Especially, in this book, I like the way of writing in beggining of Chapter five.
If you are interested in this, please check these points, too.

Thank you for reading.

The Walkathon

But handing out oranges isn't the same as doing laps.

"Walkathon" is a charitable work to collect funds by walking long distances.
This story is in a school. A boy named Peter, he uses a wheelchair to get around. Every year, the School Walkathon is held, but he couldn't take part in races, so all he had to do was to help the walkers. This year, he thinks that he want to try this race. What do you think how he can do a lap?
I felt that all of Peter's classmates are very kind. If I were in this class, I hate Peter and I may say that he shouldn't join the race. I want you to check this bonds.

Thank you for reading.

MONEY to Burn

Mark watches his sister jump on to the horse. Minutes later, she is following Harry and Andy across the field.

One day, four people robbed the money from a bank. But that money was old and dirty money. So people couldn't use them now and that money had to be burned. Robbers wanted to go to farther place, but they couldn't because of bad weather. So, they had to somewhere they can rest. They found a house.
At that time, there were two children in the house. They watched TV and just got information about the robbers. So an older sister tried to let police know, however, she couldn't make a phone call because robbers were in the house.
Then, a police helicopter came near the house. Police came here to look for someone who were injured due to bad weather. What do you think she will do next?
I want you to focus on a point when you read this book. It is a bond between sister and brother. Especially, sister's behaviors are so brave! What do you do if you see the criminals? Can you do anything or you do nothing?

Thank you for reading.

THE LOTTERY WINNER

All lottery tickets look the same. People don't write their names on their tickets...

One day, a young man took an old woman's bag from her hand. In her bag, there were some lottery tickets. She always buys tickets and they are the same numbers. The next day, it is known that the all lottery tickets were the winning tickets. Both of an old woman and a young man thought that "these tickets are mine!" and they are going to fight in court. But there aren't evidences to prove the tickets are his or hers. Who will get this money?
I read the ending and I thought that it's beyond my ideas. So, maybe you will think so, too. This book has about 5,000 words, but I think, it's relatively easy to read. There are some pictures, so you can get some information from them. If you have time, please try to read.

Thank you for reading.

THE PHONE RINGS

Then, in his light blue T-shirt, and with his teddy bear on his back, he went to his friends' table.

This is a story of a man who is trying to talk a woman.
His name is Ben, he is a college student, and it was a first day at university. He was too nervous to talk to everyone. And then, a girl came into his classroom. He fell in love with her at first sight. His friends looked him and they were trying to get some information about her. The way was they watched her and called Ben to tell their data. Do you think he could talk to her and get along well with her?
I thought that maybe things like this story had happened or will happen to us. So I was excited to read this. It is a short story, so if you have time, please try to read!

Thank you for reading.

SO CUTE!

And then there are cute old people. What makes them cute?

One day, one of my friends said that she thought a teacher was very cute. But then, I didn't think so because he was a man and much older than us.
I read this book and my thought changed a little. I knew that opinions differ with the individual, also, a standard of people thinking the things are cute or not.
What things do you think are cute? If you read this with thinking about these things, you can enjoy reading this book.

Thank you for reading.

A Pretty Face

'Tell me, am I a good actress?'

The main character of this book is a girl working in a bookstore and she likes acting in plays. She is going to play "Romeo and Juliet", and her character is Juliet's mother. One of the audience, his name is Mike watch this and he was writing a review about this. He wrote that her acting wasn't good and his review was put on the next day's newspaper. She got angry to read this and she wanted to see the writer of this review to prove she is a good actress. But she never spoke to him. What do you think how does she try to meet him and prove that?
I think that this story has many developments, so you can read through without getting tired. Also, it doesn't have so many words, you can enjoy reading it. Please try to read this.

Thank you for reading.
